Join us Tuesday, April 11, 2017 for our second meeting of the year!  Beginning in April our meetings will now run from 5:00 – 6:30 PM.  Check-in/registration will take place from 5:00 – 5:30 PM with the meeting beginning promptly at 5:30 PM.  Presenters will now be allowed 10 minutes (rather than 5) for their presentations and the meetings will end at 6:30 PM.

Visitors and those wanting to join are always welcome (although remember you must be a member to nominate).  We recommend that if it’s your first time you arrive at 5:00 pm in order to complete the check-in process and meet some of our members.  For more information, visit the Meetings page on our website.

It’s hard to believe that we are entering our third year and yet there’s a trail of generous evidence to prove that it’s true:  over the past two years through our collective giving, we have awarded over $117,000 to eight incredible local non-profits.  It has been an incredibly rewarding two years during which we have learned much from our members.

Based on feedback from members, we are changing our nomination process in order to ensure that the organizations nominated meet our requirements and to improve the consistency and accuracy of the presentations.  The Nomination Form (available on the Nominating section of our website) will now be required at least one week prior to each meeting.  It can be e-mailed to 100wwcbeaufort@gmail.com or mailed to P.O. Box 2579, Beaufort, SC 29901.

Please remember that organizations must have a physical address in Northern Beaufort County and must have 501c3 status (or fall under the umbrella of the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry).  For more information on our nomination process, please visit the Nominating Page on our website.
