At our July meeting, we heard presentations from Cherie Scoggins (ABL), Blaire Trent (The Complete Student), and Peggy Scott (AAUW). Members chose “The Complete Student” as our third-quarter recipient.

At our April meeting, Sundra Renee Smith spoke on behalf of St. Helena Gullah Housing Project, our January recipient. They received $11,800 from us.

On February 4, 2025, Members and Recipients of 100 Women Who Care Beaufort celebrated our Tenth Anniversary milestone with a luncheon held at Sea Island Presbyterian Church. Jeneane Ryan, the organization’s founder, will have a brick placed in her honor in the walkway of HELP of Beaufort’s new building.

Our January 14th meeting marked ten years since the Beaufort Chapter of 100WWC began. The meeting was opened by founder Jeneane Ryan.

We heard presentations from Becky Terry (left) for the Historic Beaufort Foundation and Sandy Dimke for the St. Helena Gullah Housing Project. The organization chosen was the St. Helena Gullah Housing Project.

At our October 8th meeting, we heard from Linda Sviland (The Helianthus Project) and Kathleen Grenewig (Open Land Trust). Members chose The Helianthus Project this quarter.
