With over one hundred women present last night, eight new members and three great presentations, it was a GOOD night. We had the privilege of learning more about Hope Haven, First Books of Beaufort and Habitat for Humanity of the Low Country. After the tabulation of ballots, the membership chose First Books of Beaufort as the recipient of our collective giving for the first quarter of 2016.

The mission of First Books of Beaufort is

“to ensure that every 4 year-old in Title I schools and Head Start Centers in Beaufort County has books in his/her home.”

Learn more about this organization on their website:  www.firstbooksofbeaufort.com.

And while you are on the web, please look at how Hope Haven and Habitat of Humanity of the Low Country are making lives better in Beaufort County.
